Pie

Surface pattern · pies and pi

This is our patterns work.

A hand-drawn repeat of pie slices and whole pies with pink, teal and purple fillings, scattered with outlined spoons and the mathematical symbol for pi. The joke lives in the tile rather than in a label, so it survives being cut up by a seam or a hem. Shown as the repeat and then printed on an apron and a matching oven glove, laid out with a pepper mill and a mortar of herbs.

A pattern on white of hand-drawn pie slices and whole pies with pink, teal and purple fillings, scattered with outlined spoons and the mathematical symbol for pi. — Seamless repeat

The pattern printed on a white apron and a matching oven glove laid flat on pale grey, with a wooden pepper mill and a mortar of chopped herbs alongside. — Mockup · apron and oven glove
